How to Screen Record on iPhone and iPad Devices

Screen recording on iPhone and iPad devices is becoming more and more popular as technology evolves. However, many people still have no idea how to use this handy feature to record anything from funny moments with friends to tutorials that show how to solve specific problems in easy-to-follow steps.

In this article, we’ll take you through all the steps needed in order to screen record on your iPhone, iPad, and other iOS devices.

How Do You Record Your Screen On Apple?

There are three ways to screen records on Apple devices. The first is by using the built-in functionality of iOS. To do this, go to the Control Center, then swipe up from the bottom of your device and tap Screen Recording.

You will see a countdown timer appear before you start recording your screen. To stop recording, tap the red button in the upper left corner of your device. Your video will be saved to your Camera Roll.

The second way to record your screen is with an external third-party app. These apps can sometimes provide more features than the native solution and some may have ads that play during the recording process.

Third-party apps also have varying degrees of quality, so it’s important to find one that meets your needs if you’re looking for a free option.

If you want to spend money on an app, Filmic Pro is a great option that provides high-quality recordings with its $9.99 purchase price.

But it won’t allow you to record longer videos like 60 minutes or 30 minutes because of the limits set by Apple.

The third way to screen record is with a Mac computer and QuickTime Player. Simply launch QuickTime Player on your Mac, hit File > New Movie Recording (or Command+Shift+N), select the webcam as the input source, and hit Record.

Where Do I Find My Screen Recording?

There are two ways to find the screen recording tool on your iOS device. The first is by opening the Camera app, then tapping the red button in the bottom right-hand corner of the preview window, this will take you to the gallery, where you will be able to view all the screen records you have saved.

The second way to use this tool is by opening any other camera-related app, like Facebook or Instagram, then tapping the square with a circle inside it in the top left-hand corner of your feed.

This will open up a list of options you can use. Scroll down until you see the rectangle that says Screen Recording in the upper left-hand corner of your screen.

In the upper left-right corner of your screen again and choose Stop Screen Recording from the pop up menu.

Once you’ve completed recording your video, return to the home screen and tap on your device’s name at the top of the screen (if using an iPhone). Select Photos & Videos from the navigation bar then select Camera Roll.

  • Second, there’s Replay, which you can find in the app store as well. Replay works just like the previous app, but it records from an angle instead of straight on. and frame rate before starting your recording session.

Frame rate refers to how many images per second the video displays. In order for your footage to look good, you want this number to be high (60 fps). To adjust this setting go into settings on your phone and tap general>accessibility>reduce motion. Next, go back into settings again until you see camera>video capture mode. Set it up so that it’s 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps depending on what type of footage you’re looking for.

Conclusion

Screen recording is not limited to just iOS devices, but it can also be done on Android devices too! In order for you to start screen recording, follow the steps that we have listed above.
